"Roofline"

Oil on canvas. This is the my first attempt to tack the idea of using the buildings around me as a means of expression. The color is really stretched out and exaggerated. More than anything I think I like the compression of space. the houses take on a personality of their own and inform each other both structurally and colorfully.
