"Fort Hancock, NJ"

Acrylic on canvas. This small painting was a painted as a gift for my brother, Tom. The foreboding structure you see is the remnants of a 19th century mortar pit located in Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook NJ. My brother and I are both fans of military history and this place is a gold mine so to speak. I wanted to convey the winter light illuminating the creepiness of this old place.
